Free Online Loop Puzzle Solver

Solve Slitherlink and Masyu loop puzzles on one page.

This Loop Puzzle Solver combines Slitherlink Solver, Loop the Loop Solver, Fences Solver, Masyu Solver, and Pearl Loop Solver in one browser tool. Enter the puzzle by hand, run local constraint search, and inspect the closed loop, confirmed edges, excluded edges, clue counts, violations, and uniqueness result.

Loop Puzzle Solver - enter clues or pearls and solve locally

Choose Slitherlink mode for 0-3 cell clues or Masyu mode for black and white pearls. The Loop Puzzle Solver builds grid edge states, applies basic propagation, backtracks when needed, and checks whether the result is a unique single closed loop.

Click a cell to cycle values. Slitherlink uses blank, 0, 1, 2, 3. Masyu uses blank, black pearl, white pearl.

Loop Puzzle Solver scope boundary

This is a manual, browser-local Loop Puzzle Solver. It does not do image recognition, screenshot OCR, online puzzle libraries, daily puzzles, user accounts, or community levels. Those features would require OCR, external data, content maintenance, or account systems that do not fit a pure front-end tool page.

Loop Puzzle Solver workflow from clues to one closed loop

Slitherlink Solver, Loop the Loop Solver, Fences Solver, Masyu Solver, and Pearl Loop Solver stay together here because the useful output is the same: one legal, non-branching closed loop with diagnostics.

Loop Puzzle Solver manual input

Choose Slitherlink for number clues or Masyu for black and white pearls, then click cells to transcribe the puzzle. Manual input keeps the Loop Puzzle Solver fast and private.

Loop Puzzle Solver closed-loop result

The Loop Puzzle Solver marks confirmed loop edges, excluded edges, and the complete path order so you can copy the solution back to your paper, app, or puzzle book.

How the Loop Puzzle Solver works

The Loop Puzzle Solver is a pure front-end constraint solver for small hand-entered loop puzzles.

Loop Puzzle Solver tracks edge states

Every candidate segment is unknown, confirmed, or excluded. Slitherlink clues count the four surrounding cell edges, while Masyu pearls constrain the two loop edges through a pearl cell.

Loop Puzzle Solver checks one loop

A result is accepted only when used edges have degree two, no branches appear, no edge is repeated, and all used edges belong to one connected closed loop.

Loop Puzzle Solver proves uniqueness

After propagation, the solver uses backtracking and stops after finding two valid loops, which lets it report unique, no-solution, or multi-solution states.

Loop Puzzle Solver input guide

Use these tips to enter Slitherlink, Loop the Loop, Fences, Masyu, and Pearl Loop puzzles accurately.

01

Enter Slitherlink clues in the Loop Puzzle Solver

In Slitherlink mode, click cells until each clue shows 0, 1, 2, or 3. Blank cells mean no number clue. The solver counts how many of the four surrounding edges are kept.

  • 0 clues exclude all four surrounding edges
  • Corner 3 clues force the two outside border edges

If you see no solution, recheck copied 0 and 3 clues first because they impose the strongest local constraints.

02

Enter Masyu pearls in the Loop Puzzle Solver

In Masyu mode, click cells to cycle blank, black pearl, and white pearl. Black pearls must turn, while white pearls must go straight through the pearl.

  • Black pearls also require straight continuation on both sides of the turn
  • White pearls must turn in at least one neighboring cell

Pearls near an edge can remove impossible directions, so they often make the local search much faster.

03

Respect the Loop Puzzle Solver boundary

This page is built for local manual solving. It intentionally avoids screenshot reading, online puzzle feeds, daily puzzle hosting, and community level accounts.

  • No upload is needed
  • No external puzzle database is queried

Keeping the Loop Puzzle Solver pure front end makes the input private and keeps the page useful for puzzle books, classroom sheets, and app grids you transcribe yourself.

Loop Puzzle Solver FAQ

Common questions about using the Loop Puzzle Solver as a Slitherlink Solver, Loop the Loop Solver, Fences Solver, Masyu Solver, and Pearl Loop Solver.

Is this Loop Puzzle Solver also a Slitherlink Solver?

Yes. Slitherlink, Loop the Loop, and Fences use the same numbered-cell loop idea, so this Loop Puzzle Solver handles them in one Slitherlink mode instead of splitting them into separate pages.

Is this Loop Puzzle Solver also a Masyu Solver?

Yes. Masyu and Pearl Loop puzzles use black and white pearl constraints, so the same Loop Puzzle Solver includes a Masyu mode for those pearl-loop inputs.

What input does the Loop Puzzle Solver support?

The Loop Puzzle Solver supports manual grid input. Use Slitherlink mode for 0, 1, 2, and 3 clues, or Masyu mode for black pearls and white pearls. It does not read screenshots or photos.

How does the Loop Puzzle Solver decide whether a loop is valid?

A valid result must satisfy every clue or pearl rule, use only non-branching degree-two loop nodes, avoid repeated edges, and form one connected closed loop rather than several smaller loops.

Why does the Loop Puzzle Solver report multiple solutions?

Multiple solutions mean more than one closed loop satisfies the entered rules. The displayed path is valid, but the puzzle input is ambiguous or missing clues.

Are my Loop Puzzle Solver inputs uploaded?

No. After the page loads, clue values, pearls, edge states, closed-loop paths, and diagnostics stay in browser JavaScript on your device.

Does the Loop Puzzle Solver include OCR, daily puzzles, or community levels?

No. This version deliberately avoids image recognition, screenshot OCR, online puzzle libraries, daily puzzle feeds, and user-submitted community levels so the tool can stay pure front end.
